Since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, some 2 million Ukrainians now live in territories riddled with landmines, unexploded bombs and improvised explosive devices. In response, the Supreme Council has engaged trusted partners that will work with local civil administration and protection services to train minesweepers and safely clear the land of potential explosives.
